This is how I feel about social networking when major political events occur in order of how I much I appreciate them.

Tumblr: 99% of my dash is the usual fandom, glitter, hot guys stuff and I love it. The 1% are nonignorant people who care enough to write more than 140 characters expressing their opinion. Thanks guys.

Twitter: 50% are just the bandwagon posts that people who, knowing only the basic, simplest ion of knowledge about the subject post to make themselves seem superior and aware. For example: "This court ruling is bs. I can't believe they could do something like this. So much unjustice." Yes, I understand you're upset, though I don't know why, since you didn't even bother to look up what made the jury make that decision.

25% are the radical "IM GONNA 2 KILL GZ NOW THIS IS HIS ADRESS" "THIS IS SO RACIST OMG OUR PEOPLE R NVR GOIN TO GET JUSTICE" tweets which are just idiotic. No explanation necessary.Hypocrital people Why do people say they want a colorblind nation when everything becomes racial profiling?

10% are the idontgiveafuckwhatisademocratpizza omgthenotebookison people who I can appreciate on top of all that ignorance.

15% are the people who actually followed the case and understand the outcome, the people that the 50% pick fights with, claiming they're "not politicians, stop trying to be"

Facebook: Basically the same as twitter, only the educated group goes down to 3% and the others go up.

Instagram: Oh god. I don't even understand why people go to Instagram for during these things. Pictures are so easy to fake and post. Especially during the Boston Marathon tragedy, so much fake, innacurate photos spread around like wildfire, disrespecting the true victims. And honestly, what is reposting a picture of a hashtagged word in pretty font going to do? Atleast put some accurate information on it.
