This Jumm'ah (Friday) let's be aware of our patience with people this Ramadan, In Shaa Allah 😅. I have a strategy that will help: Anytime you feel your temper about to flares, ask yourself (and answer in your mind) "At this very moment, what 5 Blessings can I think of that I should be grateful for?". * As you think of the blessings Allah (ﷻ) Blessed you with, your temper will eventually go away. Dikr also is a great tool: "Subhanallah Alhamdu-lillah La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akber!" * These techniques are just a couple but running to the Qur'an, listening to an Islamic lecture about the month of Mercy. But if all that doesn't help, take a quiet walk, sit down and cool off. And if still feeling it then lay down or take a nap. * Ibn Muflih al-Hanbali (رحمه الله)said: ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (رضي الله عنها) said: It may be known whether a person is really patient at the time of anger. And he used to say that the beginning of anger is madness and the end of it is regret, and anger cannot be justified by offering a humble apology. Calamities may come because of anger. It was said to al-Shu’bi: 'Why is a person who is quick to get angry also quick to calm down, and the one who is slow to get angry is slow to clam down'. He said: Because anger is like fire; that which is easier to start is easier to extinguish.
