It hurts so much
Things I am good at: fake smiling at children in stores
Ask me anything
Please, I'm bored as all hell
I'll never fully recover
Time
It’s crazy to think that a year ago today, I was getting carted off my ambulance because I’d reach a point in my life where I didn’t think I was meant to continue living. Now, I’m a semester away from graduating with my bachelor’s degree, one year early, I may add, obtained an internship at a local accounting firm, and was recently accepted to grad school.
So, if you ever think life isn’t worth it anymore, give it a year, and I promise, things will change.
Some thoughts
I was just thinking about some stuff the other day, and I thought I’d share it. I’m sure other people have thought about this before, but maybe not... It’s it so strange how life can change so dramatically, and then before you know it, it’s all back to normal? One day, you lose your best friend, lose your job, crash your car, or something else awful happens to you, and you think to yourself, “Oh god, things will never be the same!” You’re right, they won’t, but before you know it, within a month or so, things as they are, will become this “new normal.” Things will become routine, regular, and just normal. People forget, people move on, time stops for no one. It may seem crass or cruel, but that’s just the way life is. One day you’re one person, and a month later, you feel like you’ve aged ten years due to the shear amount of shit you’ve gone through, but then again, it’s all normal, right?
