Some stupid questions I had:
So, I'm reading my Biology textbook, and my professor's lecture slides, and they say that MOST plants use photosynthesis. They also say that Chloroplasts are present in plant cells and some other eukaryotes, and that Chloroplasts are found in photosynthetic organisms, meaning not just plants. So I had these questions:
1) Which plants cannot use photosynthesis?
2) What non-plants use photosynthesis?
It turns out there are some flowering plants which do not use photosynthesis. How can that be? Well, they lost the ability to transport Chlorophyll, and cannot perform photosynthesis. Instead, they feed on decaying matter, or feed off host plants.

And as for the second question, different types of bacteria have the ability to photosynthesize!

It's pretty neat, I think.
