Don’t mind the goon holding the board but it was very cool to see the fruits of my snowboard labour in real life when @danweustace brought the board itself to the office the other day. So much of my work end up as pixels flitting across the ether that it was exhilarating to actually hold this thing in my hands. Did some snowboard designs for a friend from work. As I type this, he’s furiously layering, shaping and grinding with @douksnowboardsuk , but this is the design that will go on his board. The top consists of portraits of the family with small drawings of what they’re each passionate about (son = balls; daughter = twirly dresses; mom = polar bears; dad = snowboarding; dog = bounding). The bottom of the board was to commemorate how mom and dad met (doing shots of Sierra Tequila) but with some personalizations to the tequila bottle including a portrait from their wedding and some more polar bears looking on. It was a totally different kind of gig but so much fun to work on. Can’t wait to see some pics of the finished board.
