can someone explain to me how people hc characters that have had canon partners of the opposite sex as gay/lesbian? like sorry i don't really understand it like for example hc'ing carter as gay or terry as a lesbian? yes i understand them being achillean for carter and sapphic for terry but not strictly nwlnw (c) and nmlnm (terry) like another example is people that hc donna (dw) as being a lesbian when she's married with a kid? like sorry not in a homophobic way im so sorry if it comes across like that i'm just genuinely confused how it would work. with clear and alex i'd understand hc'ing one of them as lesbian/gay because you could interpret their relationship as them literally JUST traumabonding and not much else and i dont know the word but where someone like just carries all the trauma for someone else?? like i'm obviously not saying everyone is straight (i truth sapphic terry and bi carter, and i will ALWAYS truth them) but like it just confuses me a little? like i don't see how else their relationship can be interpreted can someone please explain this to me /genq /nr /pleasedontcancelme
