finally went today to pickup my tape player from this guy oscar at this weird lil vintage audio repair shop. fixed it all good as new and before i left i remembered to ask like “oh do you sell any vhs equipment?” he had a whole wall of em stacked like this! thanks oscar ill be back at some point.//.

#uploads #imjustsittinghere #living in a city is so cool so many pretty things can happen on a walk #also LOVE when i can do like 5 things in one little trip #took the streetcar from my house to the other end of king street to get film for my new camera #walked from there to the fabric store to pickup a few things and then back west down queen #passed by this cool mirror store where the stool matched my bag from the fabric shop #grabbed new pens from the cool paper and writing store i like then stopped at the coffee window across from the park for a latte #talked to the barista about film and cameras for a bit got my latte and drank it at the park #had a nice little time and walked home <3 #like i LOVE living in a walkable city so much its truly insane i do not get why everywhere is not like this and i would die without it #anyway wishing u all a nice little day im gonna nap before my overnight shift and then stream some armored core to my friend so he can see #what its like hehe <3

#imjustsittinghere #i know iv complained about this apartment alot but i think i could make it really nice if i tried #been thinking about moving a bunch n stuff cause i thought my roomie was moving out in the summer but apparently not #was also just playing around with the idea that if he does move out id just rent the whole thing for myself if i get my promotion #n that still sounds like a really fun n cool idea #literally 1 bedrooms in the city are like 2000$ anyway and we pay 1900 here so like.. i could have two bedrooms lol #keep mine as a bedroom as is cause its cozy n nice in here #turn my roommates room into a nice living room . like i already know how id lay it out #turn the space we currently have as a lil living room/my sewing space into an actual just nice little workspace maybe #and i was flipping through my zines just now and i have one from billie about making a darkroom and now im thinking how easy it would #be to turn our weird little grotto thing into a really nice lil darkroom for developing film.......#wouldnt that be sick.. i know so many people who shoot film i could develop and do prints for people #like yeah that little grotto flooded literally yesterday cause of a storm but i think i could improve upon the space alot #of course cant really move on this cause my roommate is presumably still gonna be living here for a while (two years most likely)#but smthn to think about. in the meantime im working on getting a new couch for our tiny living room so its at least a nice spot #i was rearranging some stuff the other night n i think im gonna add some shelves n make it alot cozier of a space #or maybe ill end up moving who knows!#anyway interview for my promotion on monday wish me luck my loves <3

it is my personal belief everyone should make lil zines and send them out to each other as like a primary form of communication. i get zines in the mail sometimes and its so fun to open one up and just learn about a weird little thing! good for my creative soul or whatever.//.

#imjustsittinghere #got one today that was just about someone setting up a tiny darkroom in their office to develop film #n just talking bout all the weird little things u need for it #and it was all printed on like weird test prints of some exposures of the film paper with plants on it #very neat shit!#have another about making microphones out of rochelle crystals which is insane #just like whenever someone doing a weird little thing i wanna get a zine about it u know #would be fun to make a zine about the vhs shit ive been trying once i get good at it and test some other stuff out #was thinkin about that while i was poopin earlier
