Back in the Galactic Civil War

Imanuel: Being in the Empire is wrong. But if only I have a way out. If only I can rebel!

Suddenly, an angelic light beams right into Imanuel’s face and Venisa emerges from the light.

Venisa: Did somebody say, rebel?

Imanuel: Yes...

Venisa: Come with me, you can change, you have a chance. I will give it to you.

Imanuel jumps right into Venisa’s arms, bridal style, and they fly off.

Yeager: Venisa, who’s that?

Venisa: He’s my prisoner.

Yeager: Venisa, why are you carrying your prisoner bridal style?

Venisa: He’s mine.

Imanuel: I’m her prisoner, no questions asked.

So, my siblings and I have a tradition when watching Star Wars animation that we skip at least a one or two “filler” episodes and save them to watch after the finale. It helps to dull the sadness of the ending, and gives us something fun to revisit later on.

Tonight, we’re watching our very last episode of Star Wars: Resistance.

Star wars resistance characters example.

Jarek Yeager- retired racer and veteran of the Alliance Navy, was at the Battle of jakku. He retired from racing because his family died in an accident that is brother caused. Now runs a repair shop on a back water plantform.

Venisa Doza- retired army veteran rejoin the alliance at Leia's call because she saw the threat that was coming. mother and has one of the few happy marriages of all Star Wars and is rare because she is our mother, one of 5 of those.

Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono- a rich kid who's father is a senator who dreams to become a racer and chooses the life of a Navy pilot. Has next to no control over his life and has to learn how to take care of himself while being a spy/informant on a dangerous back water plantform. While taking the cover as a mechanic/racer to keep his cover. Watches his home world get destroyed and his father blames him for it. (With tha possibility that his own father might have been apart of it)

Tamara "Tam" Ryvora- child of a racer from a family of imperial loyalist, moved around a lot as a child, dreaming of flying and becoming a racerer on her own. Runs away from home and was betrayed multiple times. Has trust issues because of it, and wishes for safety and stability in my life. Comes to realize that the first order doesn't care about nothing but there order and leader and helps take back her home from them.

(Now we head into the meat and potatoes backs stories I want more then anything.)

Griff Holloran- former imperial pilot that isn't loyal to either rebelion/Empire/Republic/first order but to a man who was his comander and continues to serve him. Saw the lies with help of said commander and defected from the Empire.

Imanuel Doza- former imperial officer who was kind to his men, who probably grew up believing in those lies the Empire feed him growing up on a possible former separatist world, joined up against his families better judgement. Was assigned to a platform with tie pilots underneath him, and slow come to the realization that the empire was full of lies and did not care for its people and those who served it with the help of a Rebellion pilot which he fell in love with. Most likely led a mutiny aboard the ship with his men and went into hiding with said plantform from both Empire and Rebellion to keep his people safe. Must have turned himself into the rebellion to keep his people safe and grew that relationship with that pilot he fell in love with. And eventually had a daughter with and has a healthy relationship with the wife and daughter.

Now let's take all these characters and put them in a Disney show for 6 year olds.

So much lost potential.
