I finished watching the new Glitch Productions Pilot “The Gaslight District” and this is my immediate reaction, it is an amazing show! It’s gearing up to be yet another instant hit! I already love Mel, she’s easily my favourite character in this show! ♥️
The animation is stunning, easily the best from Glitch Productions so far! I would probably go as far as to say, it’s one of the best animated things I’ve seen in a while! ♥️ It also really gives off heavy Gorillaz vibes, with her being called “Melancholy Hill” really adds to that!
I can totally see myself becoming a huge fan of this already and I’ve just seen the first ep, the same as The Amazing Digital Circus, another Glitch Productions show! 👾

HOTD 1x08: Immediate reaction
As I type these words, I don't know what to make of the episode, just that it is not long enough. The timeline has struck again unfortunately.
One thing that I know it’s that all the rumours, the gossips about episode 8 were wrong! Even the leaks.
Also, two green characters were missing from this episode: Ser Crispin and Larys Strong.
A problem occurred during the intro, why Aegon and Viserys weren’t on the family tree?! Why Daemon symbol wasn’t merged with Rhaenyra’s?!
And why no Dragon was present in this episode?
I loved that they showed us Dragonstone in full and that Daemon was able to collect eggs this time.
I don’t understand why they choose to present Viserys in such a state? Like a mommy? It wasn’t like that in Fire and Blood. Also, was his tea (milk of the poppy) poisoned?
I hated Alicent’s comportment with a rape victime. What a cunt. Honestly, if Aegon turned out to be this way, I’m not even surprised. It’s all her fault.
Also, the nudity warning was because of Aegon’s ass? Seriously??
I really liked the happy moment between Viserys, Rhaenyra and Daemon, their last. Because let’s face if there is two people Viserys loves beyond anyone else it’s Rhaenyra and Daemon. So I’m sad that we couldn’t get his reaction after their wedding. Why removing your hand from Daemon when Alicent enters the room? Why being shy to demonstrate your affection to your husband?
Where Viserys’ mask come from?
Back to the beginning with Viserys being taking care by the Maester and Otto wanting to manipulate him? Kill him?
Did you notice that there was almost no one in the throne’s room?
They give on last happy moment between Daemon and Viserys, that was really touching for me. When Daemon helps Viserys to the throne and put his crown to his head (foreshadowing for what he will do for Rhaenyra).
Daemon being a bad ass to defend his wife.
Is it me of Aemond is jealous of Daemon? Or doesn’t it regards him like an icon?
I was very interested about Ser Vaemond Velaryon’s embalming. But it seems that there was something else too there with Raenys. I need to rewatch it.
I loved the dinner. Aegon being a dick and couldn’t satisfy his own sister wife. Helaena saying another prophecy, but sad that she is in a joyless marriage. It’s strange to say, but I really want to see more of her.
It’s even sadder, because Jace and Helaena would have made a perfect couple.
And I don’t understand why Daemon don’t say anything to Aemond after his remark.
One last thing, I was expecting more intime moment (not even sex) between Rhaenyra and Daemon, seeing they interact as a family, seeing them in bed talking. Those kinds of little things that make everything.
