This is an interview I had with Yotam Berger, who up until recently was a journalist for Haaretz, one of Israel’s oldest and most prominent newspapers, back when I was 17 and he was 14. (It was so long ago the whole thing was conducted via MSN Messenger, heh.) He originally published it on his own personal blog, then on an Israeli website for amateur journalists and current events commentators, and I later translated it to English, and it was uploaded by Rebecca ‘Immelmann’ to her website, because I credited her comic Concession as the reason why I became a Furry to begin with. At the time I was hoping that the fandom would grow more healthily here, as it had been virtually unknown before me and I figured it could start fresh without the stigma it had in the US for example. (Again, I was 17 at the time.)

Also, the one Israeli Furry I mentioned there is not the first Furry in Israel, and also he’s a nasty paedo (or ‘hephebophile’ I guess). I regret ever bringing him up.
