Tonight I was planning on making a tomato and avacado salad and paused for a sec because I had only 4 tomatoes left - like what am I doing, rationing? No idiot, you can go to the store tomorrow and buy more like a normal person. It's a feeling of scarcity that I grew up with in the land of abundance.
