What do you view as racism?

That's not a very easy question to answer, basically because of the ways racism works. Also because the term "race" itself is very conflicted. I cannot give you a clear cut definition, but this should cover most of it:

Oppression of minority and/or underprivileged races, especially those with lesser or no cultural, financial, or political powers, through discrimination in terms of social status, occupations, disregard of their skills and their dehumanization in subtle or non-subtle ways. Whitewashing comes under this, xenophobia comes under this, homogenization comes under this, I count cultural appropriation to be connected with racism too. And this is significant here too: David Wellman has defined racism as "culturally sanctioned beliefs, which, regardless of intentions involved, defend the advantages whites have because of the subordinated position of racial minorities."
