@heckdick, @imninjaxr i was eating dinner when i heard this about the children: reporter: "how bad are their injuries?" surgeon: "as bad as you can imagine." that got me; there are few things that have sounded more horrific and awful than that. and that image will forever be scarred into our minds. it's just... no one wants to even think about what that image represents, and it's devastating to know that baby didn't make it. and while this incident is tragic, i'm both surprised and grateful that it's not a LOT worse. and respect to the emergency services and surgeons that are doing their best and are getting hassled by reporters over the details, respect to the selfless civilians that put others first today, and love to those affected in this ordeal.

it was bound to happen
our flights were delayed, we had long stop over and there were issues with our car hire. we were both tired, hungry and extremely cranky af! we completely bitched and moaned at one another. things were said in the heat of the moment, we weren't thinking clearly and we naturally snapped. we are bff's tho....we got over it quickly. we cbf doing anything but rest, read a book or watch a movie in our suite and venture out later this evening to find a place to enjoy great food and wine. lots & lots of wine. what a day it has been and there's still tonight to get through but nothing beats being on a wonderful adventure with your best friend.
