Armoured labradorite pendant
Available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/179888087/labradorite-pendant-blue-teal-green-lime
A gorgeous labradorite in rainbow colors - from dark royal blue in the left upper corner to bright golden yellow set in lots of metal :D (silver). It is highly polished and very shiny. The sides of the pendant are armored with a thick sheet of solid sterling silver, most of it is soldered. The wrapping is angular and quite industrial. The pendant is completely symmetrical. All flat wires are hammered flat using round wires. I first draw, cut and shape each piece, then i hammer them, re-adjust the shape and file/polish them before assembly. All photos are very large; click on them to get a full screen view. Technical details: MATERIAL: sterling and fine silver (925 and 999) SIZE: 63 x 32mm (2.52" x 1.28")
Tourmalinated quartz ring
Available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/179986369/tourmalinated-quartz-industrial-wire?ref=shop_home_active_1 The stone is so bright that I had to make the rest of the ring look like it is emitting rays of light. Mechanical, machine-y light from the future Most of the ring is soldered making it very sturdy. I would not however recommend hitting or scraping hard or abrasive surfaces with it if you want to keep it this nice and shiny. There are no loose wires or anything that could snag your clothes. Size: US 8 Wrapped part: 43 x 22mm (1.72" x 0.88") Band width: 4.5mm Band thickness: 1.2mm Stone size/type: 16x16x16mm, tourmalinated quartz (2 thin tourmaline needles and a few spots in quite clear quartz)
Alien Pendant (black diamond, sterling silver, fine silver wirewrap) - IMNIUM
That is phenomenal.
Shattered #1 pendant
The story behind this piece is actually a challenge with a friend.
He makes mostly organic, flowy, planless pendants and i do the exact opposite so we agreed to try the other way. I was supposed to make a pendant without sketches or a detailed plan and this is what i came up with; my shattered pendant. It is not actually shattered, i just made it look like it was a bunch of stones and metal frozen in mid-shatter. Imagine a metal/stone surface exploding into sharp shards. That's what i was going for here, if that makes any sense at all :D
The pendant is large, full of gemstones and those many flat, polished surfaces make it very sparkly, almost like it is moving or falling apart.
Size: 80 x 34mm (3.2 x 1.36")
Gemstones:
- 1 faceted tourmalinated octagon 15x11mm (i made the prong setting from scratch)
- 2 large silver moonstone nuggets (with a beautiful shimmer)
- 3 medium fluorite nuggets
- 3 shaded (white to silver) moonstone faceted rondelles
- 3 dark pink tourmaline faceted rondelles
- 1 faceted black spinel rondelle
- 1 rhodolite garnet round facet 4mm
Soldered, wrapped, oxidized and highly polished
This one was sold but if you'd like to see my other pendants please click here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/IMNIUM?section_id=10433073
