Arching an eyebrow at the nervous timbre to Banner’s voice, she felt herself smirking. Something was making him self conscious and nervous. It was a bit amusing to think of what it might be. When he finally called that it was okay for her to come in, she slowly pushed the door open. Her suspicions were validated when she saw the way Bruce had arranged himself.
Somebody was embarrassed, it seemed.
“Am I…interrupting something?” Brunhilde asked, trying to not sound as amused as she felt. “I can leave if it’s not a good time…?”
Bruce shook his head and cleared his throat, “No, no, I just woke up.” He said. It was true, so there was nothing to feel bad about, though he did feel his heart rate go up. “Its-its-- It’s really early, is everything okay?”
