The weeping was too much for Minseo to bear.
Blood was everywhere. Red seeping through the tiles and between the cracks of her shoes while a body lay still in the corner. Seeing her breakdown with the thought of her life becoming nothing but short of successful, Siho couldn’t hold the weight in her shoulders of thinking that this is how she was meant to live. That this is it. A personal crisis with a death always near.
Minseo approaching with all the caution she had, Siho sat mindlessly against the wall with the sniper in her hands. The younger only snap away from her gruesome thoughts of the body as she felt gentleness taking away the weapon. Her eyes followed the other’s, it was soft and somehow told her it was okay. That it was okay that it was like this.
The lump on her throat was swallowed as Minseo wipes away the splatters of blood and trail of tears on her skin. It doesn’t take long before she takes her in her arms, and feeling all the weight transfer as soft sobs were on her chest. The older understood being in situations that were beyond her control, there was no better person to comfort Siho than someone who knew that survival was necessary for a world like their own.
