"I'm not Starfire" could've been better if...
INTRODUCTION
BOTH parents were involved (I'd like to think Nightwing's the dad)
Both Star and Dick wanted to raise the daughter as a normal kid
But then daughter started showing physical Tamaranean traits I guess? (height, strength, etc etc)
Which could prompt Star to train their daughter in case her powers fully manifest
Dick, reluctant cuz he still wishes for her to grow up like a normal girl, trains her how to yk fight
So now the daughter has this standard she wishes to reach at a certain point in her life...
Time skip, the girl's a teen now and her powers STILL haven't manifested.
Then I guess a worried Starfire gets her magically checked by Raven or someone else (I prefer Raven bc I love her too)
Raven concludes that her powers are blocked by something emotional (ooo self vs self conflict)
Maybe Star and Dick could enroll her in Titans Academy?
SCHOOL ARC OOOOOO
(Note that I haven't read much on Titans Academy, only bits and pieces of the story told to me by my s/o)
Maybe at first she's reluctant to mingle cuz she has no powers
Idk are there any students without powers like her?? :'D
I'd like to think a combat class would be her favorite considering both her parents trained her
SHE'LL BE PROFECIENT IN THE STAFF YEAAAAHHH
Little by little, she gains a few friends and maybe slowly starts to accept the fact it's okay to not have her mom's powers
But deep deeeeeep down she still wishes to have those abilities
Maybe somewhere down the line, the school gets attacked? And she's forced to fight and gets taken down, and using the last of her energy, manages to shoot an energy beam before passing out. (DRAMATIC EFFECT)
She wakes up in the hospital and sees her parents and tells them that she managed to shoot an energy beam. She tries to do it again but nothing's coming out, which frustrates her because she thought she finally got it.
Starfire and Dick comfort her and tell her that they'll continue to help and train her until she gets all her powers.
Obviously, there are some details that I might've missed that have completely escaped my brain. but that's all I can yap about for now. Will I fully flesh this out? Probably not XD buuuut this was fun to type out.
