Madison had dragged Zoe back to California for no reason other than they had nothing to do one weekend. It was a decision Zoe immediately disliked. This trip gave her blonde friend a chance to strut her stuff all around the Rodeo Drive, tugging her along with every step. If she was forced into one more Armani store she swore she'd vomit. But then she was saved, Madison's eye was caught by a tour of the most haunted places in L.A. What better than for witches to go on a van full of tourist looking for signs of the supernatural?
Most of the ride was spent by Madison pointing out the flaws with each location and Zoe sitting idle beside her just listening to the terrible things coming through the intercom. She didn't want to hear of these people's deaths, that was what she was trying so hard to escape. With every story her hear cringed just slightly. This was noise to her and she tried to block it out.
There's only one more house, you just have to get through one more house and you're done.
Just then the van pulled up to a house the tour guide nicknamed 'Murder House'. It was a beautiful Victorian that caught Madison's attention immediately. Tugging on Zoe's hand she hopped out of the safety of the van. Zoe's body was consumed with confusion as she heard Madison yell something about living around the corner to the driver.
They continued up towards the house, each step making Zoe a bit uneasy. Her eyes wandered up to a face looking out of the window, making her heart beat faster. She was about to enter into someone's home without their permission, even though Madison said it was just a tourist attraction she didn't trust it. It took only 10 minutes before the bitch witch gave up looking for anything creepy to crave her hunger. So she went out to the street, flagging down the first cab she saw and hopping in. Right as Zoe was about to join her she shut the door, motioning towards the attractive driver.
With that she drove away, leaving Zoe on the curb cloaked in confusion. She had waited for an hour without any sign of a car. After much thought she went back towards the home she'd previously exited to ask for help from the face she saw in the window. Taking one step inside she already felt someone's presence, they were watching her she knew it.
"Hello? Is someone there? I need help, my friend left and I could really use a ride... Or a phone, that'd work too."
