Imogen has such a strong personality you’re a little scared of her
Whenever she talks to you you freeze up and stumble over your words
Your friends, especially Violet, pick on you a little bc your crush on Imogen is so obvious
As you were leaving training one night Imogen grabbed your arm keeping you from leaving
Fight or flight kicked in and you flipped her
As pink hair came into view it was too late. You were already in motion to kneel on her chest
You let out a gasp as you land on her, “Gods, Imogen! I’m so sorry! I had no idea-“ you were cut off by her laughter. “You’re funny y/n/n.” You gave her a confused look
Quickly Imogen flipped you, your back softly hitting the mat as she gently laid you down. Imogen’s lips inches from yours. “How about me and you go into town this weekend, yeah?”
From then on you two were attached at the hip
You two do everything together
You even convinced her to let you help with a few missions here and there for the rebellion
Imogen helped you with your homework. It’s not obvious but she is very book smart
When she helps you study she rewards you with kisses
Imogen isn’t super touchy but she won’t complain if you hold her hand or any PDA
She does like to keep her hand on the small of your back when you’re out and around others
You two don’t always get the chance to do big romantic gestures
It’s the small things you do for one another that make you emotional
Like mentioning your favorite snack one time and finding it in your room after a long day with a sweet note from Imogen
You can tell when Imogen is stressed
Usually she doesn’t like to talk about what’s bothering her so you comfort her
You find Imogen pacing in her room with just the desk lamp on. She bites her nails when she’s nervous thinking. You frown, walking over to her wrapping your arms around her middle to stop her. “I’m here for you.” You whisper into her chest
All Imogen does is hug you back tighter, resting her head on top of yours

People fawning over her accent. It was flattering for maybe the first month or so but now she has the same conversation with every cashier multiple times a week. There's only so many ways she can tell random Gothamites that yes she's from the UK, no she doesn't skip the t in water that's more of a working class thing, yes she's here for work, no she's not looking for any kind of romance right now but yes she's aware she could charm just about anyone.

not of comfort. not of condolences. there is a heart and there is a fissure, a fracture, something that starts to splinter and break open. you're the patron saint of the way a heart is rent open. the way it tears itself apart. patron saint of the rift. patron saint of the gash. when they say to "open your heart" to somebody, you are the patron saint of bleeding out.

Change something about myself? Whatever it was that had the police deciding I was a perfect candidate to help them solve a murder, things have been strange ever since.
But since I have no idea what that might be... it would be nice to be a little less frail looking. It's rather embarrassing getting knocked off balance by a strong gale.
Impressive and couragous. He's certainly working hard to face what he can and grow and change and break the cycle. It takes a great deal of courage to do all of that. It's admirable. And still somewhat baffling that this man in his... what he has to be in thirties or fourties? Well, whatever his age. Instead of seeing someone on his level, he has chosen to see someone almost half his age and who definitely hasn't experienced anything close to what he or anyone in Gotham has.
There is a great deal to him, one look at his eyes and the ridiculous amount of responsibility he now has makes that obvious. I did see that article where he spent most of the time flirting with the interviewer and given his general appearance and his upbringing, I'm not surprised he knows how to charm. People contain many facets of themselves so yes, he can in fact play the part of a playboy and there way be some truth to that.
There's certainly more to him, he has quite the sharp mind and clearly used to handling things quietly. He was the only one I told about Arkham not having completed my necessary paperwork or securing residence for me and not a month after that, everything had been sorted. Clearly a man of many layers and many talents. If I think too hard about him, I may tread into territory that's for a therapist and I am not Mr Grayson's therapist.
Something I have to repeatedly keep in mind on the rare occasion we actually speak. I've not had much of a reason to other than mentioning the dire circumstances at Arkham. The staff won't listen to the threat of me actually having his number if I don't use it once in a while.
