Watched it. Hoooly hell, what a movie! It's incredible and makes me proud to be in this fandom, mad kudos to absolutely everyone involved in making Evolution happen, me and my lovely sister are an absolute emotional mess ♥️ Thank you thank you thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for putting your all into this, it paid off and then some! Just sensational, you should all be so damn proud of yourselves, as I'm certain everyone who's supported the project is as well

have you come across any particularly good fanfics for dbh/Evolution/awakening? (if so, can you share with the class?)

I made recommendation post awhile back.

Haven't seen any Evolution universe fics yet. There are a few about Awakening- my favorite being "if you're alive you're alive (and if you're alive you're free)" by imogengotdrunk.

Fanfic is the one realm we haven't seen many transformative works in, but I think that may change after Evolution comes out. Just by nature of it being longer and having more to draw ideas from.

I just watched Pscychoacoustics, and I don’t have misophonia so a lot of the acoustic effects had little effect on me and I was just happily enjoying the movie. But watching it for the second time with my sister was absolutely fascinating because she was curled into a ball, it got to her so much! She’s had misophonia since I can remember and she said she could really relate to the main character’s discomfort. Fantastically done film! And Sarah was absolutely amazing!

Wow that's fascinating! Both Austin and I have it, so making this movie was an exercise in trying to make ourselves as uncomfortable as possible lol. I honestly felt not very confident in that film after screening it a few times because you never know who in the theater will really be affected. So it makes me feel good to know that it worked as intended!

Your Detroit Awakening movie blew me away! Thank you for your hard work, you all clearly put so much skill and effort into the project! Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a link to the music you used? All the tracks are beautiful and I’d love to download them :)
