i use character.ai, spicy ai, and janitori to rp. They are all better than trying to find some bitch ass rp player on tumblr or some shitty fanfic that doesn't go the way i want it to.

Why do the c.ai defenders always act like it's perfect and way better than anything humans can produce? Anyways here's a little FAQ because atp I need one. Also I've used multiple different ai chatbots so I know what I'm talking about.
"Fanfiction sucks and the writing is bad"
Ai chatbots steal from fanfiction writers. You're complaining about the same thing that was used to train your precious ai. You just need to look harder for fanfics.
"Fanfiction doesn't have the characterization I want"
Write it yourself. Find someone who does requests. You could even use other fanfiction as inspiration.
"I can't find anyone to rp with"
That sucks but ai is not the solution. Maybe expand who you want to rp with or read fanfiction instead or even just keep looking. You can't find anyone if you just give up.
"I can't find good fanfiction and/or rp"
Those aren't even the only options. People in my reblogs have stated many other good options. There's also making up scenarios in your head, which I do a lot now. You can also write your own. If you can't find what you want then do it yourself whether it stays in your head or makes it to actual writing.
"I'm addicted to c.ai"
I was too and I know it's hard. Please work hard to quit. It feels so much better when you're not dependent on ai for your happiness. It's worth it, trust me. I'm not mad because you probably didn't know what you were getting into. I know you can quit if you try hard enough. Good luck.

Honestly this one confuses me. I've dealt with many mischaracterized bots. None of them know as much information as a human would about the source material. Some of them even knew nothing. So many characters I've talked to were really 2D and on one website I tried briefly (after my friend mentioned they used it) the characters barely had personalities and pretty much their only goal was sex.
