UST IN: President Trump has become the third president in history to be impeached. The House passed both articles of impeachment: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Trump was impeached - but unfortunately because of members like Senator Mcconnell who is working with the white house office the senate trial will be an unfair trial which will likely lead to Trump be acquitted by the senate in 2020. Still think it was the right thing to do even if he’ll use it to boost sympathy from his base for his reelection.
History notes will prominently place this as a stain on his presidency - and I find that a plus. America didn’t just sit and let him do what he wanted.
Republicans keep saying that Trump was “duly elected” by the “will of the people”. - He lost the popular vote.
Republicans keep saying that the democrats started the mueller investigation - the Department of Justice (DOJ) started it because there was a valid reason for investigation.
If you’re going to keep defending Trump could you at least speak facts and try to be fair?
