This new vote is scheduled for Saturday, December 14. During a press conference, Lee reiterated his firm belief that President Yoon should…
New drinking game:
Every time a Representative says ‘God Bless America’, take a shot.
Every time a Representative tries to speak over the Chairman, even though their time is up? Three shots.

As U.S. Citizens, we can not trust these people any more
These are the people who voted to acquit the president for his numerous crimes in a joke of a trial. They are the people who voted to prevent the introduction of evidence and witnesses IN A CRIMINAL HEARING. And then because there were no witnesses or evidence, THEY CLAIMED HE WAS INNOCENT.
Whether or not you believe Trump is innocent of the charges DOESN’T MATTER here. I want to stress this fact. IT DOES NOT MATTER if you think Trump is innocent or guilty of the charges. It’s the fact that these people... the following legislators... decided that the REMOVAL OF EVIDENCE AND WITNESSES in a CRIMINAL TRIAL was a good idea.
But if you live in their state, you can do something about them this year in November. VOTE THEM OUT!!

Literally unheard of. What precedent are we trying to set here? Should we just go out and murder someone, then say that evidence and witnesses should not be allowed during trial? Is this something we want to be a standard in our judicial system?
These people have no business being in office. They are only concerned with their own agenda and the face and name of the party they serve. It’s no longer about the people, it’s about Republicans vs Democrats. And this is where the line is drawn. ANYONE who makes a decision that is completely party-based and not in the interest of the people they represent needs to be VOTED OUT.
Do your part!
Acquittal.
Clark cannot look Lois in the eye. He’s grinding his teeth with enough force that he thinks he might crack one of the back molars. The camera is already on and shuffling the papers in front of him will not change what he has to say next. Perry allowed Clark to run point on this, no matter how the Senate session concluded. He can hear Wall Street bankers clinking glasses downtown in celebration, and he can hear construction workers cursing rigged systems on smoke breaks. Even in Metropolis, where employment numbers are on the rise, the question of who the law really protects is a daily topic.
The cameraman gives the final countdown, and Clark hears the commercial break ending. He clears his throat, finds a smile... and then decides against it.
“Good evening, my name is Clark Kent and you are watching our live coverage of the Impeachment trial. The rolls have been called, the arguments have concluded, and the final vote was just recorded, in real time, with witnesses. The Senate verdict has failed to achieve the two-thirds majority, and President Trump has been found “not guilty” on both counts.“
Clark closes his mouth and stares out at the viewer. The teleprompter is rolling and he knows that he should still be reading, but he cannot make himself give a canned response.
"I think in times like this, it’s easy to lose hope. It’s easy to check out of the process and think that those who do evil and take advantage of folks with less than them... will get away with it every time.”
Clark feels himself sitting up straight, and stops just before his shoulders are completely square. He frowns.
“We heard each and every one of the Senators that voted guilty loud and clear today. It wasn’t two thirds but it was nearly half. President Clinton was acquitted by similar numbers, and he left his office in disgrace. This administration will not escape the stain of impeachment and the American people will not forget what they witnessed.”
“Here at the Planet, we promise to deliver fact-based reporting on the fallout of this vote. We implore our viewers not to stay home during the primaries and general elections this year. We will help get you there, we will fight gerrymandering on the ground and we will partner with local organizations trying to take money out of politics.”
Clark signs off. The veins are bulging out of his editor’s neck, Lois is so shocked that her coffee’s gone cold and Clark is not going to talk to other of them. He heads into the bathroom and is out of the window before the door shuts behind him.
