Today (this week) has not been the best. I can again feel my mental health slipping through my fingers! Times are uncertain and I don’t do well with not knowing. I’ve shouted at my babies, cried like proper sobbed in front of them so much that Jessica actually came to me to hug me. You could see in her little face the worry that the human she looks to for support and guidance had totally lost it. She smiled at me a smile that I just know was one to try and make me feel better. That girl was sent for a reason. I mean she had just spilt water over my laptop (for a second time) but she was trying to make me feel better. I wish sometimes I had the innocence and lack of knowledge of a 2 year old. It would so help me to not give two hoots about the state of the world. Self care has to be upped, Twitter May need deleting, kitchen dance parties may have to be implemented and the news turned off. Instagram for me has always felt a safe space. Somewhere I can come and chat with a friend. But I’ve neglected it to tune into too many “trending” articles on the twitter. So I’m going to be trying to post some positivity over the next few days. Things I find that make me smile. Things I’m grateful for. Things that give me hope. Who’s with me???
