Yes, both Mortis and Indran sleep better knowing the other is safe and next to them.
Do they give their partners cute nicknames?
Mortis doesn’t (and nobody is surprised by that), he uses formal and traditional ones. Indran is the one who does come up with the cute ones, much to Mortis’ annoyance. Indran calls Mortis ‘my Star’ because his name is Alastar and, well who could resist. Mortis is kind of taken with it because he never imagined someone would come up with a nickname for him, but also annoyed because he’s Mortis and allergic to cute stuff. Mostly annoyed.
Are they protective of their partner?
Yes, she is in her own way. Caitlin does know that Ty can take care of himself, but who doesn’t want some support from time to time. She is aware that Ty is way more skilled with a lightsaber, but in high society she does know how to make people shut up. Then again, she knows that their relationship is the reason Ty is getting some dirty looks and comments. And she wishes she could make it so that he’d never have to hear them.

It was still dark when Theron woke up and it took him a moment to remember why he wasn’t in the room he had been using since his return to the Alliance. The woman pressed against him, with her legs tangled between his and arms securely wrapped around his torso. Meleri’s head was resting on his shoulder and he could feel the warmth of her breath on his neck.
Theron smiled in the darkness, tightening the arm he had slung across her waist. It had been weeks since he had returned and this was the first night she had invited him to stay in their room for the night. She was starting to trust him again and that meant everything to him. Turning his face he pressed his nose into her hair, breathing her in. He’d dreamed of this, being back where he belonged that it was almost hard to believe it had finally happened.
He wanted to close his eyes and go back to sleep but the pressure his pelvis reminded him why he was awake. He needed to hit the head and that meant moving. Moving carefully to keep from waking her, Theron managed to extract himself from her limbs and get to the fresher. As he was washing his hands, he studied himself in the mirror and smiled at the bruise on his neck Meleri had given him.
Meleri told him she wasn’t ready to have sex with him again, but if the way she had straddled his waist when they were talking and given him that mark was any indication she might be soon.
His thoughts were interrupted by a cry from the other room and he rushed out of the fresher, heart racing, terrified what he would find. “Meleri!”
Expecting to see an intruder, an enemy of some kind, Theron was confused when he burst back into the bedroom to find Meleri alone. She was sitting on the bed and had her face buried in her hands. She looked up at his entrance and sighed in clear relief.
Theron looked around the room as he made his way to the bed but nothing seemed out of place. He hesitated at the side of the bed. “Meleri, are you okay?”
Instead of answering right away, Meleri fiddled with her hair, pulling the long white locks over the shoulder and running her fingers through it. “I thought it was a dream,” she said finally, her voice barely a whisper. “You being here, with me. I woke up and you were gone and I thought…”
“Oh sweetie,” he said, climbing onto the bed and pulling her into his arms. “I’m right here and I swear I’m not going anywhere. Not again.” Meleri relaxed in his arms and he laid down, keeping her close. Like before she intertwined her legs with his and pressing herself close to him.
“You really won’t leave?” she asked. It was rare to hear her sounding so timid.
Theron pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “I promise,” he said, “there is no where I’d rather be.”

As far as days go, it’s been pretty great. Returned my final uni assignment for the semester and had a meeting at the uni. Indran tends to be the one to initiate, not by a large margin, but still more often. Mostly because she happens to know what she wants and when and not be shy about it. Also, Mortis does love when she’s assertive and clearly wants him. Mortis does initiate on about 2/5 times though.

Well, Inran does find semi-public places (aka sure, people could walk in but are very unlikely to) and outside as turn ons. Garden sex is fun if you ask her. Indran is the rising ballerina in the Dromund Kaas Ballet. Her rise is often attributed to latent Force talent that just never ends up manifesting. Her family, all who are Sith, mostly leave her to her own life. Still, many Sith feel that Force-blind individual has no place at the top of the Ballet.
Mortis has just been named Darth at a much younger age than his parents had ever expected. To celebrate his accomplishment they throw him party and due to being one of the major benefactors of the DK Ballet, they ask for a private performance by their lead ballerina.
As Indran is the lead in the newest production, she is sent to perform. For her it’s a great honour and she is more than happy to be there.
During it, Mortis is utterly captivated by Indran. He’s only able to exchange a few words with her, but is impressed by her wit. So much so that he goes and see her perform during the opening night of the newest production.
After the show Mortis asks Indran out for coffee. She agrees, though mostly based on the fact that saying no to a Sith, especially when his family is patron, tends to be lethal and bad for one’s career.
Much to her surprise she ends up enjoying his company far more than she’d have expected. In few months time the two are involved in a passionate affair.
It carries on for several years until it’s clear that Mortis is expected to marry. Both had always known things would end eventually and that this was inevitable, but they still feel sadder about it than they would have expected.
In a quick fit of madness they decide to run away, but they realise how doomed the idea is and it ends more as a final week together.
After they are back on DK, they promise not to contact each other. A week later Indran reads about the engagement announcement, vowing to forget all about him.
Indran ends up getting a single red rose with a small card only signed with an elegant M after every performance until her retirement.

Largest Regret
Not asking Indran to stay on Dromund Kaas or delay the trip she got killed on. He’d felt a warning in the Force and wishes he’d actually acted on that instead of assuming it was due to general politicking. He takes such warnings more seriously now, but feels he failed when it truly mattered and they all paid the price.
List 3 fears, Surface, Repressed and Deep Dark
Surface: Failure. It’s something that all Sith are taught to fear and despise and Mortis is no different on that regard. At his position the effects of failure do tend to be far reaching. Then again having attained his position does give him confidence about his skills and abilities.
Repressed: Falling in love/growing attached. In his position he feels he can’t be certain of the other person’s motives to trying to get close to him. Well that’s the part he tells himself, not the fact that he still remembers the emotional pain Indran’s death caused and fears having to go through that again if he gets attached to someone.
Deep Dark: He knows how Aleena felt about him in the beginning and there’s a part of him that’s afraid she still feels that way but has just gotten better at hiding that fear and resentment. And then, one day, Aleena would tell him that she hates him. It’d be in a letter and she’d be gone, nowhere to be found in the entire galaxy. He’d be alone and anyone that truly mattered to him would be beyond his reach.

How do they express their love
Mortis finds physical affection somewhat difficult, especially anything that counts as public displays of affection, but on occasion he does surprise. Indran always got at least a good morning kiss, have a good day at work kiss, nice to see you again kiss, and a good night kiss. And he isn’t above wrapping his arm around her while they are relaxing in the evening. And just saying “I love you” from time to time. Concept of home and family
Indran views home as the place where her family is and where she feels safe. Certainly, making the place look like her makes it more home, but at this point of her life the people make it. Having at least Mortis there is the minimum requirement, but whenever the kids visit, it feels more like home.
As for family, it’s those she considers having a familiar bond with. Despite Sith families putting a lot of importance on blood relations, Indran has learned that those really don’t make family a family, but that a lot of other things also go into it. Blood is important when talking about lineages and heirs, but don’t as such define family.
Thoughts when adopting Lak
Definitely was seen as a favour for Gravus. Nobody else was taking Lak in at that point and Gravus had been a family friend and a political ally, leaving his apprentice all alone would have been rather rude. She also agreed with Mortis that it would be seen favourably in certain circles they tend to hand around in.
Zane
Top or bottom
Top, he does like to be the one in control and has been known to top from the bottom if he for some reason ends there. Not that he minds switching on occasion and definitely enjoys it. But definitely gets more out of it when he’s topping.
