It was always a bit nerve-wracking working with other vampire hunters, considering that he was a vampire.  Still, it was impossible for him to only ever work with Yagari, Kaito, or Kaien.  Nevertheless, it was always a nice refresher that there were quite a few folks out there that wouldn’t hesitate to kill him if he were to lose control.

Despite Elizabeth being Kaien Cross’ daughter, he wasn’t that close to her.  At the very least though, it gave Zero a good idea not to underestimate her.  After all, the silver-haired teen had worked with her father on numerous occasions and knew that he was extremely skilled, even if he didn’t often act like it.

      Loss of control, failure, sacrifice and loss with no meaning, and most specifically, running out of time.Munakata is a man whose dream was to create a place where there were more people thriving than suffering, because he could not believe in true happiness for everyone, and as such, holds a very, very strict regiment close to his chest in order to reach that nearly impossible, but not inescapable, goal.         The only times we’ve ever seen him falter are when he could not manage to take hold of the situation and man-handle it enough that he could solve the problem -  He couldn’t manage to convince Mikoto to stop from killing the Colorless king, because he hadn’t managed to find a way to stop the Sword of Domacles from deteriorating, he couldn’t stop the Green Clan from taking the Slates, because he was too drained from trying to keep them contained with an already cracked Sword himself, and he was slowly counting the days until he could see Suoh in hell.          Even before all that, he lost something he had pulled close to him(Kusuhara), by the direct means of his own way of leadership - if he had not made Takeru join the elite group, or told him to watch his back, he may not have died, and that very obviously shook him to his very core, as he has also not changed his glasses since they were splattered with Kusuhara’s blood, and that’s why his prescription is so off and he can’t see for shit.

    Yeah yeah I know Mikoto and Munakata’s relationship is important, but so is Munakata and Seri’s relationship.
