Forgive the random ask, but I was looking through your blog and I have to give you major props for your icons! Looking at how they are edited, I can tell you've had to put in extra work with how parts of Mat will pop out of the border like his nose, ears, or his arm and weapon depending on the icon. There's no just slapping the image down onto a PSD/border and calling it a day, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else put that much effort in icons before. I just want to let you know that your work is appreciated bc it makes them look SO GOOD.

Funny thing about my icons, they were kinda born out of a necessity.

See, I’d committed myself to round circular icons before quickly realizing because of the shape of Mat’s head his ears were constantly getting cut off by the border.

( ⸻and I dunno, I just thought his ears looked cool so I wanted to have them clearly visible in my icons).

So my solution I came up with is just to have his ears pop out of the border, simple, effective, time consuming, but totally worth it.

Thanks, I think they look good too if I do say so myself.

The Fiery prince stood there, confused by the staring.. until the other stated the information. ...Right, that. The fact that he’s a part of the royal family now. And.. this was his cousin? His Aunt’s Son? ...I suppose some haven’t been told of him, just to keep things calm.

“It... It is a lot to process, yes. I am.. still unsure of it myself. It seems odd, strange.. having family like this around now. A Cousin, an Aunt, everything. But.. I suppose it is what life is now.” He seemed uneasy saying all of this, like he was expecting the other to say something else. But since it never came.. he tries to speak his mind to a varying degree of what he thought.

Walking still felt weird, even though to herself it felt like no time at all. Seven years passing in an almost instant due to being encased in stone would do that to you after all... Was this what Discord experienced? Twilight shudders at the thought of ever having to go through it again.

However, the halls and floors of the Crystal Empire were always a welcome one, given her family living here and all. So much has changed over the years, it’s practically making her head spin to try and keep up with it all. Was she even processing everything correctly? She should have been taking notes.

Twilight walked just a bit more before stopping in her tracks, coming to face with a... Kirin? Well, not 100%, but regardless she was familiar to Twilight, albeit very briefly.

      ||. just issues no.1-2! dunno when no.3 is gonna come out, though discord is absolutely playing them all for Friendship Lesson’s sake and i am SO here for that~
