The Pirate crews in cannon are gangs
Ace usually wants nothing to do with the gangs but Luffy will convince him to have fun with the Strawhats.
Ace works at a bar he is a bartender
He has finished college
Sabo works for a part of a rebel group trying to overthrow the government
Sabo will drag Ace into helping him on some missions. Literally
Devil Fruits do exist
Everyone has eaten the fruit they have in cannon
Through work Ace knows some of the Whitebeards (Thatch, Izou, Haruta, Etc.)
The Whitebeard gang was after something that the Strawhat gang got to first (the Yami-Yami fruit)
Teach has already betrayed the Whitebeards
They had a devil fruit that he thought was the yami-yami fruit
It wasn’t
The Whitebeards are trying to find the fruit before Teach does
Luffy asked Ace to hold onto a locked box for an undefined amount of time
The Whitebeards track down where the Strawhats are,
currently at Ace’s house, he said they could stay as long as they let him sleep ( Ace has work tomorrow and needs his sleep)
The Blackbeard gang has also figured it out.
Both of the gangs attack the house
The Strawhats launch a counter attack though they are trying to be a quiet as possible. Like catching things before they hit the ground, throwing a pillow and holding it on someone’s face as they scream in pain, etc.
Ace is a demon when his sleep gets interrupted. Like he will kill the person or people that woke him up. But he’s fine as long as he does the waking up
Needless to say, the two added gangs wake Ace up.
In the middle of the three way fight, three daggers come shooting out pinning Luffy, Teach and Marco
As everyone looks where the daggers can from
all the Strawhats hide any weapons they were using and hide
Down the stairs comes Ace, his hair is messed up, he has bags under his eyes and looks like he was just woken up.
The members of the Whitebeard gang that know Ace are shocked, what is the funny and fun and joking bartender that they know doing here?
Ace just glares at everyone and says “if you’re going to fight, don’t fight in my house and don’t wake me up.”
Ace then just lets out a blast of fire that throws (mostly) everyone out of the house through all the holes they have made in it
Ace had Fire proofed his house long ago after he got the flu
The Blackbeards and Whitebeards are trying to process what just happened while the Strawhats use this opportunity to knock out the other two gangs
Ace then makes a ring of fire appear around his house and whenever anyone tries to get through it just gets hotter and bigger, preventing entrance
Marco wasn’t forced out of the house by the flames but he did unpin himself
As Ace is fuming at all the holes that everyone just flew through, Marco clears his throat
Ace turns around and sees Marco he opens his mouth to say something but them his eyes close and he falls asleep, falling on Marco
Marco catches him and then freezes he has no clue what to do
This (cute) person just fell on him and is asleep.
He ends up sitting on the semi-ruined sofa and staying there until Ace wakes up
When Ace wakes up he freaks out and starts throwing flaming punches
‘Who is this (hot) guy holding me and why, and why is my house ruined’
Marco has to pin him to the wall to be able to talk to him and calm him down
When Ace asks why Marco is there he gestures towards the holes and he can see the fire surrounding the house
Marco then has to tell him what they were doing
Ace is then angry at Luffy for not telling him that the box that Luffy asked him to hold onto had a devil fruit.
He then marches outside where the Strawhats are and the other two groups are waking up.
The Whitebeards and the Blackbeards wake up to see the man who threw them outside yelling at Luffy and what looks like trying to kill him
Teach says something, most likely about using Luffy to do something evil
Ace freezes and then just turns to Teach.
(He’s still in that “just woke up” mood and his protective brother instincts go on overdrive)
He then just smiles
One of those deadly smiles with the eyes shadowed
He then just holds his arm to the side and just starts gathering flames on him hand
(The Strawhats by now have booked it to the other side of the city. They know to run when Ace smiles like that)
Everyone watches with wide eyes as Ace is just holding a sun and smiling
Just as he is about to throw it at Teach (and hit everyone in the surrounding area) a pipe comes out of nowhere and hits Ace on the head.
It’s Sabo
This has happened more than what everyone wants would like.
Sabo is on the “stop my brother from destroying the city by hitting him with seastone” job.
The sun just disappears and Ace drops to the ground
He then just looks at a Sabo and whines
“Sabo!! Why!!!”
“Because you were going to destroy the town Ace!!!!”
Everyone is just so relieved until….
“But Sabo, he was talking about kidnapping our poor, cute, innocent, Luffy!”
(Cue two older brothers having death auras and smiling)
“Oh? Is that so? Well then, let me help you … enlighten this … despicable and worthless human being on why that is such a bad idea.
Goodbye Teach. Die with lumps on your face and burns everywhere.
