So, I have been carrying this around with me for a while now, and I decided to follow through with it. So as of now, I will change some important things about my muse.
As most of you know, I started roleplaying because I saw some people rping as members of the band I was obsessed with back then (still am...), and as I had no idea of roleplaying but wanted to join, I just made this account, simply having one of the 'left-over' bandmembers as a muse, which also was my favourite. So I just did what I saw the others doing, I had this person I was trying to imitate. But I wasn't okay with some things, or quite a few things, and I started changing him more and more. By now, my Flake has nothing to do with the actual real life person except for the physical appearance and being a member of Rammstein. Though in more and more verses, he is not even that, but is a policeman, a werewolf, a vampire, has a work that is not further specified, or just running through the wild, trying to escape his chasers. So what remains is the bodytype, the appearance, the face, nothing more. That became the shell for a character that I created over the time, that is entirely mine, and if I now look at his real life 'original', there is just nothing they really have in common anymore.
On top of that, I came to regret the decision that my muse is a person that exist in actual real life, because even though he probably has no idea about this (or anyone else rping as him), it is creepy in a way, and invades people's privacy in a way that I can't really describe, but more than once have I felt really inadequate with Flake being, well, Flake.
So as of now, I do not want to have him as Flake Lorenz, member of Rammstein, any longer. I will change his last name, and he will be a musician still, however his band will remain nameless for now. He will remain German, and nothing else about him will change since essentially those changes took place over the past year. If anyone has ideas, I will be taking suggestions for a last name until the end of this week, though I do want his name to be a German one. I will change my blog description and about page according to these changes in the next days, but for all my lovely partners things will essentially stay the same.
For those who really want it, or for threads where it matters, and because I am always relunctant with changes, I think I will still have a verse where I roleplay him as Flake Lorenz, member of Rammstein, but that should be exclusively for actual band verses then.
