Laurel had meant to call Kara within a couple of days of their last meeting but life wasn't cooperating like she hoped. She ended up with a new case that took a lot of her time and attention and the criminal activity in the city was up. It barely gave her time to breathe, none the less call to schedule a date. But things were quieting down after a couple of weeks and she had a date tonight with Kara.

Laurel was just as particular about making sure the house was clean as she was that her outfit was perfect. To say she wasn't hoping they wouldn't end up back her after dinner was a lie. Laurel made her way to the restaurant and smiled when she saw Kara. "You look stunning tonight. Not that you didn't the last time I saw you but I was a little distracted."

The Doctor was in the middle of tracking something. He wasn’t completely sure what it was he was tracking, except it had small signs of Cybermen and Dalek technology, which meant whatever it was, it was most likely dangerous. He was following the sonic screwdriver, following where it was leading him when he noticed the woman flying above him.

“That’s a bit odd,” he stated. He pointed the sonic screwdriver up, scanning quickly. While she clearly wasn’t human, the scan wasn’t showing any signs of Dalek or Cybermen technology. While she wasn’t whatever it was he was looking for, the Doctor figured it wouldn’t hurt to side track a bit and investigate how she was doing that and so he decided to follow her trail to figure that out.

Power to the City

It was a Friday night at Luke’s bar, normally it was filled on Friday night’s but tonight seemed to be different. Tonight ,it was jammed packed, and it was probably mostly due to the beautiful woman that was visiting there tonight. Luke made a habit out of knowing his customers - it was good for business both professionally and personally, so he knew for sure this beautiful woman was new and likely the cause of the many drunken men and perverts infesting his bar.

Walking up to the woman, the muscled man formerly known as Power Man, former bodyguard and hero-for-hire, greeted her.”Yo, how’s it going? Finding everything alright tonight?”
