Today I continued work on this piece. My intent is to imitate the light on flowers in the afternoon. I spent much time looking for photos with the same quality I wanted, but had some trouble

School starts on Wednesday! I'm excited. I've been practicing my vocabulary, but I have had some trouble with sentence structure. I am not going to try to study ahead in structure, as I don't want to learn it incorrectly.

I have a very specific memory of this scene at least ten years ago now. It was evening at the beach and the back door on the ocean-side hotel stood open, casting this perfect, ethereal door of light into the water, as if the ocean was something indoors. Also, my dog was there ;)

Had a breakdown, I put together a Insanely large fall portfolio for finals (50 pages, folks, I’m dead) and wrote a book review, so I might as well make some pretty waves :’) as a treat
