Okay, I just finished a TV show marathon. I need a new show...
@beastcallisto answered: It IS a zombie show but Z Nation is definitly FUN. Third season just started.
Zombies are really not my thing, sorry.
@gigi-tastic answered: Lost Girl is really great as is White Collar
All I know about Lost Girl is that there are lesbian fairies, which admittedly is right up my avenue. Gonna pass on White Collar for the moment though because I’m bored with crime shows atm.
@citrusjava answered: Veronica Mars (detective, 3 seasons)? Supernatural?
Seen both! (Well, not all of Supernatural, but... you know, it’s weird to me that some of you weren’t around back in the days when this was a supernatural blog.) I might watch Veronica Mars again though because I really enjoyed it and haven’t seen it in forever.
@magicmumu answered: Stranger things
@improbabletoaster answered: Have you seen stranger things because it is amazing. Also iZombie is great!
I’m currently avoiding Stranger Things because I’m an annoying hipster who hates popular stuff just not feeling it, but I’ll probably watch it in a few months. iZombie is also on my radar - not especially high due to the aforementioned zombie and crime show issues, but the concept was interesting enough to grab my attention.

Anyway, after all that I wound up watching Dark Matter because I was scrolling through a list of sci-fi shows and saw the magic words “space opera”. I am a parody of myself. But all of these are getting bookmarked and will be noted for later or watched alternately as my mood shifts. Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone!
couldn’t listen all the way through | not my thing | it’s okay | kinda catchy | ok i really like this | downloading immediately | already in my library
So last night my best friend from high school and my boyfriend bonded over putting random things in a salad spinner and this is how I know I’ve made quality decisions in my life
Disclaimer: I am not psychic. The things that happen in this reading may be true, may not. A big part of doing tarot is knowing a person, or at least being able to know a few things about the person. You’re not sitting in front of me, so it’s a bit tough. And remember: tarot doesn’t dictate the future. It points out things that you may want to look out for. You can always change your destiny.
Tagging: I will be tagging these posts as Tarot, if you don’t want to see them on your dash!
Question: improbabletoaster asked for a general reading, and will receive one!
1. The Question. The interpretation of this card will help define the question.
Five of Cups. So this is the despair card. Sorry about that. You’re obviously not in a good place, and are feeling somewhat disillusioned about life. This may be because of something ending--a relationship, a friendship, or some kind of opportunity. You want to know where to go from here, in this low place.
2. This card describes the events and the general situation that lead up to the question.
Ten of Cups. Well, you’ve probably lost a friendship. That’s made you incredibly sad, and also a bit angry. There’s a facet of indignation behind what’s been going on--you don’t feel like you’ve deserved what happened to you, which just makes the situation all the worse. You’re mired in negative feelings.
3. This card shows how the seeker has tried to answer the question, or it may indicate the character strength or flaw that has the most bearing on the solution.
The Hermit. You’ve been withdrawing yourself in order to figure out who you are, and what you want. You think this will lead you to some kind of inner-truth or wisdom, and is probably good for your mental health given what you’ve been through. This will help you find your center.
4. Specifically this card may represent the influence of co-workers, friends, or family.
Ace of Wands (reversed). Basically, you had a lot of faith in someone who didn’t follow through. They disappointed you, and worse, they’ve kept you very stagnant. You’ve had trouble moving on from what you wanted from them, and it’s clouded both your mental health, but also your ability to connect to others.
5. This card represents the answer to the problem. The appropriate action to take is inherent in the interpretation of this card.
Page of Cups (reversed). (First, I wanna point out that three of your cards are Cups, which shows just how much this has affected your heart. Your heart is really wounded, and your problems stem from there.) You should take the Page of Cups as a warning of what will happen if you stay going the same way. Not only will you not escape your current mental state, but things can get worse. You need to not be seduced by the prospect of toxic people--you need to be able to remove them from your life. If you do that, you have a chance to get through this negative point. You just need to move forward, and try to forget, if you can. When upright, the Page of Cups is a good, studious, helpful person who may be intense, but is a worthy person. You can change your fate and help yourself become that person once again.
