Her water would be cut off this month. The cable bill would be creeping up soon enough this week. Then what was coming up that she couldn’t yet pay for? Cynical, Rhoda supposed altogether she would lose the trailer. Greg would be so mad at her. And if he knew where his mother was tonight, he’d be so frustrated to see her waste the money she currently had at the Bar rather than saving. He didn’t get how this was a grown-up’s way to relax. “Look.” Sluggishly, she smiles for the man who sits beside her. “The most handsome man in the desert is here.” Wasn’t there a NO TREVOR sign outside the bar? GOD, if she didn’t hate her neighbors.

Dodger wakes up first, not quite remembering where he is at first before smirking and rolling over onto the older man’s chest. At first he doesn’t want to move, but he shifts to straddle him and just... admire him. The permanent scowl, the scruffy thinning hair, the scars on his face... it’s all great as far as Dodger is concerned.
Once upon a time Trevor would kick him out of the trailer as soon as he’d fulfilled his purpose, and he’d be content feeling the ghosts of fingers in his hair and hips while he heated up a spoon outside. It was so much nicer waking up beside him, knowing he’s allowed to come and go as he pleases and that he’s allowed to please Trevor.
“Sun’s up, daddy-o.” He teases quietly, leaning down to kiss him, “Let’s go paint the town red.”
Literally, he hopes.
"Well, I’d appreciate it if you’d fuck off."

If she was nervous, her cheek would be gnawed on like bubblegum. If she was filled with the deepest woe, her teeth would have clinched and grinded. Neither of these things happened and, if Rhoda wasn’t so blinded by disgust: she’d possibly be impressed with herself.
Trevor Philips, the wonderful self-made man of Sandy Shores, wasn’t a man she wanted to bask in the almighty presence of. Funny, huh? But here she stood, brow furrowed. Hands on her hips,
“I’m the mother.” She hissed, "And if I say my sons aren’t buying something, ‘better than candy,’ they’re not.“
