New Series? (Yes I need help)
So just curiously - and I know I should be writing for my other series but shhh - would anyone be interested in reading a (Young Justice) Bart Allen x Reader?
It would be called Fire, Brimstone and the Glory of Gotham or alternatively Apocalypse.
The story starts in Bart’s year and explores more things about that time, like where Bart lived before he was in Happy Harbour. It explains more about what happened to the heroes with a bunch of OC children.
The Reader AKA Apocalypse would be the daughter of Tim Drake and be the Commander of an underground group called “The Gotham Resistance” who are the last free humans. She works with her cousins (which she calls siblings) who are the children of the other robins.
The main idea of the story would be about how the Original Robins abandoned Gotham after Batman’s death and how their children started calling themselves the Council of Robins and now run the Resistance.
It would have undertones of abandonment and have things about child soldiers. The tone would be very Bart, half-serious (like in the flashbacks) and half-joking.
The main OCs would include; Jocelyn Todd AKA Riding Hood, Dorian Wayne AKA Lucifer, and Alice Pennyworth. There’d be canon characters as well - like Mari’ Grayson.
It would also sort of be a Soulmate AU with soulmates sharing certain non-personal knowledge.
I know it’s a bit over complicated but would anyone be interested in reading it?
I’ve got a few parts already lined up so please leave a comment or like/reblog. If you’ve got any ideas I’m also open to suggestions.
