They scheduled my induction but it's five days away so hopefully I have a baby before then.

Yup that’s what happened with her too. Water broke but no labor. And after all that and no pain meds for 12 hours on Pitocin, she had to get an emergency-c anyway. Ugh. I don’t really have any expectations for delivery but I hope I don’t have to go through anything like that. After how much my exam this morning hurt though, I feel like I’m probably going to need an epidural because owwwww and that was just a couple fingers.

hahaha yes exactly. I hope I don’t have to be induced, another two weeks seems like forever.

well yeah, it’s part of the whole belonging to a community and feeling like you share things other people don’t, if you want to be included you have to prove yourself by making the effort to figure that shit out. But I haven’t signed up for any forums, I’ve browsed them probably less than 10 times this whole time so I wasn’t really motivated to figure out wtf they were saying.

lol I don’t know if “excited” is the word I would use. The whole concept of me having a baby that is her brother still seems pretty hard for her to wrap her mind around. I definitely foresee some jealousy issues but it’ll be aight. She thinks talking to my belly is weird (daddy suggests, but she won’t), and she’s only been willing to feel him kicking a couple of times. But she’s definitely asking more questions lately and every time she comes over from her mom’s, “when is the baby coming out?” is the first thing she asks.

So the least I can do for him (and the nurse) is make sure it doesn't smell like rotten eggs. And not having accompanying similarly-smelling explosive diarrhea. But I did puke tonight while we were in the shower together (I had already puked so I thought I was done and joined him). I apologized but then told him it was practice for labor.
