I LIKED THAT THEY JUST HAD A GOOD FRIENDSHIP WITHOUT HAVING TO TURN IT INTO A RELATIONSHIP THING, but nooooo…we can’t have that, can we?
I do believe there some moments of genuine friendship between the two, but I never thought Stefan was a good friend to Caroline. He manipulated her and put her in close contact with her abusers so that it was beneficial for him. Stefan only ever cared about Caroline if he could get something out of it.
