Let’s talk about the last two months of this process. I have never in my entire life had to worry about losing weight or having a ‘fit’ look. So this past year was starting to get to me and I fell into a slope of comfort and saying as long as I look good enough I’m fine. Fast forward to end of 2019 and start of 2020, I started to notice a bulge at the bottom of my shirts. I knew I had to make a change when I took my shirt off in February and had no real definition to my upper body, I couldn’t fix my mind to say it out loud but I was starting to feel uncomfortable in my own skin and doubting myself as a trainer. So I developed a plan to start working out small and build from there. 2-3 days of body weight workouts a week for a month, then progress to weight training again. This is just the beginning and I’m a month into weights and things are coming along nicely. I’ll continue to pt on a little weight until I start back on the goal workouts at the track. This is a reminder to just trust the process. I wasn’t sure things were going in the right direction despite the fact of feeling and moving better I was worried about the number on the scale rising too much. Well it’s all good from looking at the numbers and it’s about to get better.
