Under The Stars – Now we go from star crossed lovers to “Under The Stars”. This is another beautiful song that slows things down a bit & does a great job at painting a picture of lovers getting it in on the side of a road in the middle of nowhere. Ms. Pillay sings intoxicatingly, “we ain’t goin farrr, pull up over thereee, we’re all alone out hereee on this road, too drunk to drive me homeee…so we pull up over thereee, my stilettos in the airrr, I’m upside downnn…”The production sets the scene with many atmospheric elements that mesh together to form one gorgeously seductive song. All I can say is that @demjointz a production beast & the singer/songwriter Candice has a unique vocal style that combines her East Indian heritage with an R&B flavor.
