I really love getting into the nitty gritty with media analysis, both within the universe (like thinking of characters' thoughts and motivations) and outside of it (like the effects of production constraints, cultural & historical influences, etc). So I really appreciate seeing u talk about these kinds of things, especially when it comes to history that I know about in a detached sort of way but hadnt thought about its influences in the current day's media. Which I feel like is true for a lot of people in western fandom spaces, But! That's exactly why it's so good to see it pointed out. Maybe the fandom at large wont care very much, but for us who genuinely want to dig into it all and Learn, it's very appreciated.
