ok... rampant copaganda aside, elementary really went off when they made sherlock's famed nemesis--professor mariarty--into a gorgeous woman/evil genius posing as irene adler (sherlock's lover). like first of all... twist of the decade tbh. second of all, way to take a famous historical character known for his disdain of women and make his ONE smarter-than-him rival into a woman. talk about a #girlboss 💁‍♀️

I just don't get how even supporters!! of james gunn feel the need to say UHHM, YEP, WHAT HE DID WAS BAD I KNOW BUT...

there doesn't have to be a but (or anything that comes before the but)--you may not agree with such humour, may not like it, accept it, whatever. here's the thing: this doesn't necessarily mean the humour is wrong. You can't just draw the line at something that you personally don't accept in jokes.

It's either 'it's all okay' or 'nothing is okay' when it comes to such topics, because otherwise you'd be just judging subjectively. And when a person's life and career is on the line, that is not a good thing.

Also the marvel cast trying to escape the heat is a sad thing--whether they believe that what happened was justified or not, whatever they say that the certain public group doesn't like is going to fire back like it happened with cavill. so we get silence and unfollowing (??:)))

(I also think that it's most obvious with Pratt, since he dances around with the phrasing etc, obviously he's afraid to voice his actual fucking opinion on the matter without trying to soften the edges.)

Nothing that has been happening so far is a good thing. All that's being done is choking people. No one benefits, and we've lost an amazing director.
