Here are two new fashion plates I added to my collection today! These 1860s beauties are ~30 by 25cm. As soon as I got them home I took the frames apart to see if there was a caption or signature hidden beneath the mats. All the one on the right says is ‘Leroy Imp. Paris’ but the one on the left has these signatures:

A big ‘W’ and the name Louis Berliér on the left, and the name Héloïse Leloir on the right. I looked them both up but could only find information on Héloïse Leloir (née Colin) a prolific artist who made watercolors and engravings for fashion magazines such as La Mode Illustrée. A reverse image search of both shows that’s where they were originally published. According to Wikipedia her two sisters were also fashion illustrators. I think I’m going to reframe these, because they were backed with cardboard and packing tape, the mats cover the signatures, and the frames themselves are chipping. I think these are etchings or engravings and not lithographs but I really don’t know squat about printing someone feel free to educate me.

While I was waiting for something, I saw... a new (FGO) design that. was making me feel... visually overwhelmed, I showed it to my friends and I decided to edit it "quickly" based on their opinions of it. The recolor is not "good" but it was done for funsies.

Koyanskaya of dark... but with black hair (and early 2000s animal tattoos).

I know she's supposed to be looking like a ring leader and animal tamer ft. kimono because of being the "Beast of Cherishment", but also (presumably) like her fashion sense got messed up because of being in-between phases. But... my eyes.

Even if you don't know what I'm talking about, thoughts?
