something i've been pondering lately is whether ro having rek & jumper as her teammates this season was the best case scenario for her given her unavailability since w them, there were never any expectations on her to do more then simply Allow them to call her their teammate, or resentment towards her for her absence bc of who jumper and rek are as people. or if their acceptance of ro's absence and willingness to wait for her as long as she needs without ever really pushing her or asking her to Be more available played part in her absence since they never gave her a reason to login or a purpose on the server, which meant she had very little reason to login or to care abt anything

bc i do firmly believe ro would have made the effort to be more present if they'd asked it of her bc from what i have seen from other seasons, ro is someone who always, ALWAYS does her best to help and be as good a teammate as she is capable of being when she cares. when she is given a Reason to care

After seeing several posts kinda agreeing with this sorta thing I just wanted to see if the fandom could come together to try and start this

Since the musical and the book (or movie if you wanna include that) have some wildly different characterizations, can we try to separate the tags more?

Like if the post is vague enough you can address both sides yes, go on ahead

But like if the characterization comes through differently don’t tag both sides

Personally to separate the characters I like to pull the ol’ “Musical!Darry” versus “Book!Darry” and it works pretty well (Used it in my Two-bit post :)

AND ALSO, if you are posting about the musical cast members PLS DON’T POST IT TO THE GENERAL TAG OUTSIDERS TAG! I love them all dearly and love seeing stuff about them but I know several people get frustrated when they can’t find the stuff talking about the story itself and only find info on the cast. And by general tag I mean don’t post it to the overall tag, go ahead and post it to the musical tag it don’t really matter

This might seem a bit controlling and I’m sorry if it comes off that way but this is just a potential system that may work, idk guys. Besides I can’t stop what y’all do, that’s not my business. If anybody has better ideas for organizing it all go on ahead, discussion is mostly good

(We’re going to ignore fem labels being forced on me.) but what i get from this is that is that i’m a peaceful balancing factor for the two of them xD which i think was already something i knew but is funny to see come through in this as well.
