Tumbleweeb // Open
Through exploring the new area, Shinta had long since discovered there wasn't a whole lot to do out here. That didnt mean the desert wasnt interesting, of course. True, the appeal of the beach episode wore off the more time he realized he was spending on his own, alone and without the privilege of a cool OST and intro montage; but that didn't mean he was done here. It just meant he changed out of his beach outfit.
Far be it from wanting to miss a single detail in this newfound biome, Shinta was now standing at the edge of the tumbleweed area, staring vacantly at the rolling shrub husks and face strangely vacant. Or... perhaps less vacant than usual? His eyes were downset and thoughtful as he watched the tumbleweeds fly around in the small artificial wind created by their own movements, introspective and tuning out the world. It almost seemed like he might not even notice as someone finally approached him. Almost.
His eyes stayed train on two or three tumbleweeds, spinning around one another as they bumped repeatedly into a cactus, as he spoke up distantly and seriously.
".......This is my aesthetic."
Oh, yeah. He also had about three ice cream bars in his hand, one unwrapped and melting as he reached up to bite it in his trance-like state. This was the life.
What's Cooler Than Being Cool???????? // Open
Staring into the frozen lake almost seemed like something out of a Christmas movie; deep into the introspective plot-based angst of the protagonist, the scene would pan out as Shinta spoke up finally, saying something relatively honest, and emotional about his experience here at home over the winter.
"....That sure looks cold."
Unfortunately, this is not a Christmas movie; this is a shoujo manga and Shinta is only in the supporting cast. That being said, it was about time he stopped acting in ways that could be perceived as being upset. What reason did he have to be upset about these events anyway? Sure, people were dead, but that seemed to be the oncoming trend for the garden. Worrying about it too much would be useless and beyond anything else, embarrassing. Shinta had no time for embarrassing worrying, or any other unsightly feelings honestly.
As he heard someone approach him from behind, he turned to glance over at them as put-together as ever. It was like his outburst at the trial never happened. You know, because it didn't.
"Greetings. Welcome to the tundra biome."
What is he an otome game NPC now?
