In INACAP, the institutional and career recognition processes constitute the external verification of the defined quality standards and are the key to improving the quality of the work of an institution and higher education in Chile.
Accreditation is a voluntary process that certifies the quality and outcome of the curriculum offered by autonomous higher education institutions in Chile. The National Accreditation Commission (NAC-Chile) is the public and autonomous body that is in charge of accrediting the institutions that decides to submit to this process.
INACAP has particiated actively and voluntarily in the accreditation processes of its institutions since the beginning of the current System of Quality Assurance of Higher Education, formally created with the entry into force of Law No. 20,129 in 2006.
In relation With the careers, INACAP has proposed to expand their participation in the accreditation processes of study programs, and thus to have an external verification of the quality standards defined for each of them.
