Auhhh I'm really sorry guys!! I haven't been posting like I promised, both my Stexmaxxing accounts have been inactive now for ages! I feel I'm gonna leave these accounts for now until I'm able to really post again!

I've been super busy on weekends with sewing a bunch of stuff and I haven't had time during the week to post with school work and going out with family.

So I really apologize, but I'm most likely leaving these accounts now.

No Longer Have Access to Old Accounts - 2FA Weakness

UPDATE!

Finally, Tumblr solve it for me and I’m happy they make it easier for me!

I've been able to gian access to it and decided to delete it so I can focus on this one.

See? Miracle does come somewhat 🤣

It is very unfortunate that I once have an account that now I didn’t have access to. I still have the password, I still have the email, but 2FA is Arrrghhh... Sometimes. Misfortune happens every now and then, I have logged off of that old Tumblr, and my old phone number just poof and inactive. So, yes, Indeed, 2FA is secure but sometimes, “No good deed goes unpunished.” or whatever. 2FA have weakness EVEN for its own account holder and unfortunately team Tumblr doesn’t give me the answer I hoped for. To which only leave me hoping and pray that some other way out will be given one day.

I don’t think I’m the only one who has been in this situation. Although my old account+blog only have a re-share post, I do connect with some fan work artist through it which I might have to reach out again. But knowing that the inactive account-blog just hanging out there, makes me very much feel unprotected. And... 

The username is also out there and none of those people know I’m still here, only with another name. Welp, I think what bothers me more is that name is very important to me, and... I own it... Yet it feels like I don’t... (It’s not easy being sentimental but the world doesn’t give us any excuse for it lol)

I’m pretty sure people nowadays start to reduce their activity on the internet and just leave their sites all over the place. People too started to leave Tumblr, I’vve noticed? Perhaps they have their own reasons or similar problem, either way. I hope they’re alright. We can’t always fix this kind of mistakes if we no longer have access to it. 

Truthfully, I emailed them that I’ll be willing to give as much information they need that I can remember about that account and delete it through email if I can’t gain back the access to it, but, same as many of you who might have tried to emailed them, the answer was always that spesific explanation of “Nope” and “there is no way you can appeal for it nor delete it even if it’s an honest mistake.” which, judging of how hard these people work for us all these time, I’m upset, but, “What can I do?” 

I want to say it’s alright to have the urge to fix this “mistake”, but keep live out your live as if it doesn’t matter anymore. But I’m pretty sure, one day, miracles just come to us. Idk... Maybe these websites will not only recycle usernames but also delete inactive accounts and either make it empty and anonymous or just delete it completely, leaving us active user a new space to express ourselves without the feeling of being haunted by... Whatever it might be left on the internet by the old version of us.

Because for someone as anxious as me... It doesn’t feel good at all. Especially when I know I was basically just stoopid.

So... I can’t delete it, I can’t tag it as inactive, I can’t change its title. I hope Tumblr have more solution for this in the future as some mistake can be as honest as it possibly could be.

But I hope this will bring any of you readers comfort, knowing that we all made mistakes and we learnt.
