Lagos is a Mega-city engulfed by a huge flame of hustle and bustle. It’s home to over 21 million people who busk against the web of traffic congestion every single day! And if it’s any compensation, the coastal city is like the two sides of a coin, it’s insufferable but it’s also an ideal location for beachgoers and watersports enthusiasts.
In a short while, I’ll be sharing how a family spent an unforgettable 72 hours in traffic… LOL, I’m kidding there’s a bucket of fun things to do in Lagos and in August of 2019, Tochy and his tribe planned a trip to Inagbe Grand Resort, it was indeed a few days of freedom from the bustling City of Excellence.
Getting There…
Inagbe Grand Resort is located on Snake Island, Opposite Niger Dock, Amuwo-Odofin. The folks had to rent a speedboat and the journey continued for a couple hours before arrival. It is a top notch location for hangouts, honeymoons, water sports, vacation and so much more.
Where to Stay…
Inagbe Grand Resort has a great variety of options for accommodation. The block of flats in the resort were quite far and secluded from the roadside and Tochy and his family had to be carted away in a truck.
At Inagbe, Flats are grouped by name, numbers or states and Tochy made reservations for two of the room packages just before wandering off to have some fun.
Packages include;
Standard Rooms
Deluxe Rooms
Premium Rooms
Executive Rooms
Six-bedroom Chalets
Two-bedroom Bungalows
What to Do…
The day before, Tochy had a great time sightseeing, he popped up at the basketball and tennis court, swimming pool and then finally, the gym. The Resort also gifted his family a friendly complementary breakfast and a sea side buffet much later.
Obviously, there is a ton of stuff to do in Inagbe (and the best to see and do really depend on your own interests), here are suggestions from the family just one tent away from a full-blown circus.
ATV Quad Biking
Beach Walk + Ocean Views
Horseback Riding

The Sum Up…
Inagbe Grand Resort is full of surprises, fun activities and lively entertainment. It is open to everyone including couples, friends, family, beach lovers and honeymooners who want the perfect seclusion from the Lagos Metropolis.
So Hey! You thinking what I’m thinking? When are we popping up at Inagbe or have you already been?
