"The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter," also known as "The Tale of Princess Kaguya," is a Japanese folktale about a childless old bamboo cutter who discovers a baby girl inside a glowing bamboo stalk. The girl, Kaguya-hime, grows rapidly into a woman of extraordinary beauty, attracting many suitors, including the Emperor. To avoid marrying, Kaguya-hime assigns impossible tasks to her suitors, which they fail to complete. Ultimately, she reveals her celestial origins and returns to the moon, leaving the Emperor's court.
Tambo art, or rice field art, is a form of art where designs are created in rice fields by planting different colored rice varieties. These rice varieties, with their unique leaf and grain colors, form a giant, vibrant picture when viewed from above.
