“Just because they are ‘asking for it’” You could here a slight amount of doubt in Al’s voice as he said that. “Doesn’t mean you should! What if you get hurt?! The way you act sometimes, makes me think you WANT to be in a hosptial…!”
“The way they talk its as if they want me to fight! I’m tired of people thinking my height automatically makes me look weak!” It’s not like he WANTS to be in the hospital, his anger is just too easy to fester with.

It was a quiet morning, snowfall outside of the window. The young State Alchemist had been studying all night again, bags underneath his golden eyes, but when he heard his dear brother’s voice he set his book down, and turned in his chair, making a face.
“Y-You got a wha-?” Edward was bewildered at first. They hadn’t done something like this since their mother was around, frankly the elder Elric was a bit embarrassed. But before he could let his brother respond, he rubbed the back of his head. “Ah …Alright.” He muttered, managing a sheepish smile, and sat with his brother, taking a look at what he had brought.

Ishval and it’s people are FINALLY ABLE to stand on their own two feet , rising from the carnage of ruin that was Amestris’ sin as much as his own. It’s a tragic history overcome by the strength of humanity that is TOO EASILY underestimated by immortal beings , titans in comparison to the mortal insects that they were. Democracy is taking root and soon , THE TRIALS OF THE WAR CRIMINALS would begin and he would be the first. It’s fitting for the ‘ Hero of Ishval ’ to face justice with hands tainted by the ASHES OF HUNDREDS that he had murdered.
Until then , they’ve allowed him to keep his position AS FUHRER for now. They’d need to arrest him soon and he knows that time is coming. His work won’t stop until it does but the paperwork in front of him is SO CLOSE to boring him now as he starts to skim over paragraphs, a clear sign that he’s losing focus. The announcement of a visitor he never expected snaps him into focus , CURIOSITY always fueling his attention.
❛ IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME , Alphonse. ❜ There’s a soft hint of a fond kind of welcome to the youngest Elric who has always been the more polite one between the two brothers. He hasn’t seen EITHER OF THEM for a good while , now that the eldest was no longer a part of the military. It’s nice though , quiet , less noisy.
