ok so most of us agree that maudie is autistic and kyle has adhd, and some of us also agree that ava also has adhd. but my hot take is that EZRA has adhd.
yes, i know he isn't very hyperactive, but you don't have to be hyperactive to have inattentive type adhd. yes, he seems to be able to easily pay attention in class and we know he gets good grades, but so did i until highschool happened and i needed time management and executive functioning to do well, not just talent, and i'm currently typing this up while procrastinating a simple assignment. so.
and at the beginning! the whole "busy mind" thing. that's the most adhd thing i've ever heard. (it probably could also be autism but shhhh let me have this). it could be why he vibes with kyle and ava despite having vastly different interests— adhders vibe with other adhders.
and look. none of the kids seem to be able to follow any sort of social cue. maudie is probably the worst and ava is probably the best, and also they're all 10-11 so it makes sense that they aren't the most socially aware, but also. they all seem pretty bad at social cues— INCLUDING ezra. which supports my agenda that not only are all of them are neurodivergent, but ezra specifically has adhd (once again, also a symptom of autism, and once again, let me have this)
so! yeah. look i'm hyperfixating super hard on this show and there's like, no fandom for it. and i'm asian and was the "smart kid" in primary school and made that half my personality and then my grades crashed and burned in highschool and i just see myself in ezra and therefore i'm projecting onto him. and it's 12am and i'm not fully coherent. but uhhh anyway do the 3 other inbestigator fans on this site agree
