This is not the Magic School Bus

A lot has been said about Singapore's bus service. Every now and then, there has been news about bus accidents, bus frequency changes, attacks in the bus and etc etc. Everyone uses the bus at one moment, because I do. Sub-consciously, our thoughts and feeling changes as the bus twist and turns. As more people board or alight the bus, or even when the weather changes, these moments changes our thoughts and feelings instantly. A bus ride in Singapore might not be like the 'Magic School Bus' but since young, we have always been told that a bus ride is always about a moment of possibilities.

As a sport that is uniquely Asian, dragon boating hinges on team spirit, coordination and excellence. It reverberates through cultures, and cements cross-border ties and relationships through friendly competitions. It's a small wonder that DBS and dragon boating are a natural match, with their commitments to nurture relationships within and beyond geographical boundaries.

As a bank born and bred in Asia, DBS is dedicated to championing this uniquely Asian sport and bringing it to greater heights through the DBS Marina Regatta.

The DBS Marina Regatta 2012 marks Singapore’s inaugural international dragon boat competition since 2000. The RSAF Open House 2011 was held at Paya Lebar Air Base in May 2011. It was open to public for a few days and it showcase RSAF's 3rd generation planes.

Visitors came by the thousands and everyone was looking forward to look at the favourite aviation wonder. The hot day did not dampened spirits yet it caused spirits to soar.
